Hard Bat Events

On Friday night at 6:00 p.m. the Hard Bat Events will begin.

Hard Bat Events are greatly different from the modern day table tennis events.

Players are required to use a type of paddle with no sponge cushion and with pips out.

The paddles must be of a type where the amount of spin provided is limited.

Players may wear long pants and hats.

No foot stomping is allowed during the match.

A Round Robin format will be used in all events.

A match is the best two out of three games to 21 points, with the serve changing at intervals of 5 serves.

Trophies are provided to 1st and 2nd Place in each Hard Bat Event.

DOUBLES EVENTS

On Friday night at 7:30 p.m. the Doubles Events will begin.

Teams will be placed in Classes based on the combined USATT ratings of both players.

A Round Robin Format will be used in all events.

Trophies will be provided to both players of a team for 1st and 2nd Place.
